MS Word Primary Fonts
If you are using a downloaded version of MS Office and the font is not currently on your machine, it will have a download cloud/arrow symbol next to them in the list. Click on this symbol to download and install on your machine.
All of the Microsoft primary fonts are Sans-Serif.

Google Primary Fonts
These are available for use in Google Docs by selecting ‘Add fonts + ‘ at the top of the drop-down font list and typing the name of the font in the search box. These fonts can be downloaded and installed on your computer for use in other applications (such as MS Word) from https://fonts.google.com/
There are currently just over 1000 different fonts that you can download for free. I have not included fonts that could be classified as handwriting or fantasy, nor those which only offer uppercase.
